Dr. Hardevendra Singh Randhawa, is former principal of GZSCET, Bathinda. He is a B.Tech. In Mechnical Engineering, M.Tech in Mechnical Engineering (Production), and Ph.D from IT Roorkee

He started his career from lower rungs of ladder and through his grit, determination and passion reached the zenith of success. He served six years as a lecturer in Government Polytechnic, Khuria, Distt. Sagar, MP. During his service life, he remained as the member of equipment and store purchase committee, Coordinator Academic Affairs, Coordinator Estate and President Sports turn after turn. He was also a lecturer in Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College Ludhiana. Besides that, he presented four papers in National / International Conferences and received best paper award ICSMS-TATA for "Characteristics of a pulsed - current, vertical-up gas metal arc weld in steel". He has also undertaken AICTE sponsored projects under MODROB scheme for Modernisation of Computer Lab. Modernisation of Computer Integrated Manufacturing lab and Modernisation of Metallurgical Lab.

He has served as a Professor and Head of Mechnical Engineering Department and has been the Coordinator of that Department. He had the additional charge of Professor and Head of Electrical Engineering Department.

Dr. Randhawa has also served GZS College of Engineering and Technology College right from its inception for the duration of about 20 years till attaining the age of superannuation and contributed to convert the sand dunes into a lush green ultra modern engineering college, considered as one of the best in the region.
