Technical Education has undergone a sea change during the last one decade. Thanks to the visionery of Guru Nanak Education Trust, who took the lead by establishing Hermes College of Engineering and Management as a self financing engineering college in the State of Uttrakhand offering courses in Engineering, Masters in Business Administration and Post Graduation Diploma in Management. With the highly committed management, excellent infrastructure, well qualified faculty and competent staff, most disciplined and talented students, this college shall be a torch bearer of tomorrow to show the path to the other engineering colleges in the region.

Students are provided with ample scope for participation in co-curricular and extra curricular activities apart from workshops, guest lectures and seminar which are conducted on regular basis. we are looking forward to further strengthening the teaching learning process, strong Institute - Industry interaction, faculty development, increased use of web based learning with the objective of imparting world class quality technical education along with career counseling and personality development programmes. Research activities shall also be initiated laying stress on creativity and innovation.

The four years spent in the HERMES is going to be the golden years of your life. Optimize the use of time and take your studies seriously and learn as much as possible. Slow and steady wins the race, as it is said. Live an honorable and dignified life, with due regard to the sentiments of others. I am confident that HERMES, under the Chairmanship of most dynamic and visionary leader Sardar Inderjeet Singh Chadha, will mould you in world class technocrats who will strive to work for the well being and prosperity of the mankind. I am confident that by the blessings of Almighty, this group will soon become an autonomous University having its own name in the country and rest part of the Globe.
